harbors

I'm going to tell you about harbors.


Harbors are protected bodies of ocean, sea and water where boats and ships stay. There are 5 fishing boats at the docks at the harbor. they carry fisherman to catch fish.

Sail boats and tall sail ships have sails that use for windy and rainy weather. People who sail boats are called sailors. Even a captain.

Some ships have sea robbers called "PIRATES." YO HO HO! It carry treasure.

Other ships have cargo, container and passengers and even an oil tanker that has oil. Tramp steamers and ocean liners. Last the cruise ship.

There is a paddle on the steamer. It goes round and round and make a splash. It also has a whistle that toots.

 Tugboats can pull ships and barges carry stone, garbage, coal, and everything. Tugboats have whistles and horns. Some are for emergencies.

Fire tugboat has a noisy siren. It can pull fire barges with hoses. It can spray water on the flames.
