Underwater Animals



I'm going to tell you about Underwater Animals.


Dolphins were the sea mammals. They breathe air through the blowholes. In fact the dolphins can communicate each other with squeaks, chirps and whistles. The baby dolphin swim with the mother dolphin to keep up and stay close. They also working together to catch fish. Under the dolphin's skin has a thick layer fat called blubber. Dolphins were intelligent, curious and friendly animals.



Jellyfish is a umbrella shaped creature. It has beautiful tentacles, but it looks extremely harmful. These tentacles has small sea creatures. Lobsters has a hard chalky shell called an exoskeleton. It can grow a new shells. Hermit crabs can curl up and protected inside their shells. Crabs have hard shells and strong claws.



Sea Urchins have poisonous spines. It can protect them from hungry fish. Squid have large eyes as big like dinner plates. Octopus have eight arms and it can spray a cloud of ink. Cuddlefish can change its color to match their surroundings. Sea turtles have shells on their backs. Sea Otters are excellent swimmers, they plunge in and out of the water.

 Great White Shark is one of the largest and most dangerous hunting sharks in the world. It can eat fish and seals and also attack and kill humans too. Like most sharks, it hunts by sense of smell. Closing and quickly on its victims and ripping apart with its razor sharp teeth. Hammerhead sharks look like a hammer and it looks dangerous. Blue sharks have big eyes just like the squid does and they are very dangerous.  



Whale Sharks is one of the biggest gigantic sharks in the world. It can never bite humans. It can eat tiny shrimp, plankton and small fish. Whale Sharks are very gentle. Whale Sharks is not a whale but rather the world's largest fish. The diver can hitch a ride on the back. It has 3000 tiny teeth are really use.



 Killer Whales is one of the world's largest kind of dolphin. It can leap so high and give a mighty splash. But they're type of Orcas. Which means they go together. Humpback Whales has a humpbacks on their backs. Their heads are covered with bumps. The other giant whales are Blue Whale, Gray Whale and the Sperm Whale.
